How to protect your email address from hackers

Maybe you have gotten a chance for operating computer or you have recently bought a computer and you have just started surfing internet. Bye the way I forget something yes you also have opened your first email account for sending email to your friends, banks or other important places or receiving important email from your friends, banks or other important places. But do you know just for your little mistake your email address can be hacked by hacker. Yes friends if you do some silly mistake then your email address can be hacked by hackers. Basically hackers hack email address for getting money and sometime they get success or sometime not. But if you don’t want to compromise your email address with hackers then you can follow below steps which will help you to protect your email address from hacker.

1. All email address provider has own security. All email address provider like gmail, yahoo mail, hotmail or etc mail provider has their own security system as a result this all email provider often send you security related emails. If someone try to access your email address then they immediately send you an email with some details like you email address is attempted to access from different IP (Internet Protocol) address with Firefox browser and windows operating system at 9:47 PM date 13.07.2016. If it was not you then immediately change your email address password. A good hardy password is required which is easy for you but guessing is difficult for other people. Always keep password at safe place and don’t share your password with anyone. If you opened your facebook or other social account with this email then make your email address as private as a result none will be able to see your email address as a result none will be able to hack your email address.

2. Make unguessable email address. If you create your email address which is easy to guess like bishwajit.datta@gmail.com then very easily hacker will be informed that your email address can be like your name Bishwajit Datta but if you make an email address like bishwajit21549@gmail.com then guessing is very difficult for hacker to know your email address can be like this bishwajit21549 and they will try bishwajit.datta@gmail.com which is not your email address at all. So don’t use your full name to create your email address but if you do then add some number which will be very difficult for hacker.

3. Make a secure hard password. Email password is a your email address important key like locker key if it’s stolen then your valuable materials can be lost. So make a hardy password which contain uppercase, lowercase, numeric number with symbols like ju^h5FbD4#. But most of us always use our pet name, child name, teacher or ours love ones as an email password which is easy to guess and hacker always first use your name as a your email address password. So if you make name as your email address password then there has lots of chances of losing your email address by hacker.

4. Protect your computer, smart phone or tab. If your computer, tab or smart phone has no anti virus then immediately install an anti virus. You can install any anti virus which is easy and cheap for you. Other side smart phone or tab is affected by malware apps so install an anti mlwate apps to you tab or smart phone. Don’t install any apps with out judge. Only install reputed and trusted seller apps. If you are using wifi internet connection and thinking don’t need to worry then I’m saying that you are thinking wrong. Wifi can also be hacked by network sniffers. Set your wifi security to WPA key. If you don’t know how to do that then go Wireless Network > Wireless Map > Router > Properties > Device and now set your wireless key to WEP/WPA key with strong password.

5. Never give password. As a careful internet user I know how to hack an email address yes some one can send you an email with a link and have said that you have break your email address company’s terms and condition and also your email address will be lock so if you want to keep your email address under your control then follow this link page. And when you will go to this link page then they will ask your email address with your email address password. So did you understand how your email address can be hacked. So don’t believe any one and your email address provider will never ask your password. There are lots of technique of email address hacking so don’t open unknown email and also if your known person ask your email address password then don’t give. Just say no for email address password.

6. If you are a victim. If you are a victim of above steps then immediately contact with your email address provider cause every email address provider has a verification system and if you contact with them then again you can get back your email address.

7. Change security question. If you choose easy security question answer then change your security question answer and choose hard security question answer which will prevent hacker approach of hacking your email address.

8. Set two steps verification. If you are using gmail address then your email address can be more secure cause gmail have two steps verification. If you enable two steps verification then after login in your email, a code will be asked which will be delivered to your mobile through sms, Other side you can get ten backup advance code by which you will be able to login in your email address and also if you have google authentication apps on your smart phone then apps will generate code by which you also will be able to login in your email address.
