How to protect your network from hackers

Hacker is everywhere of online or virtual world and trying to find out weak side of your network system, If they got then they will attack your company’s security system which mean they will get your company’s confidential all information. Some black hat hacker get pleasure by doing this type of work and some do it for getting money. Whatever the reason is but hackers are looking for any type of organization for doing hack. Large corporate business, banks, financial institutes or any type of security organization is favorite target for hackers. Now if you want to protect your business form hacker then you have to protect your network first. So follow this below steps for protecting your organization. 

1. Follow hackers forums. It will be very good idea if you follow some ethical hackers forums cause they always update new technique of hacking as a result you will be able to alert yourself which mean your organization will be safe.

2. Change your given password. Some security software give you built in password when you install software to your security system for first time which is vulnerable to unethical hackers so change your default password now.

3. Install identify entry points software. Installing identifying entry points software is very important for your organization as a result identifying entry points software will scan all entry form internet into internal system of your organization and if some hackers want to attack your system then they have to enter your network system through entry point which mean your system will detect and prevent those hackers attack but doing this task is quite difficult and you need to get help of well trained skillful ethical hacker who get special training on network security system.

4. Do an attack test into your organization. If you do a test of attacking into your organization from inside and outside then you will be able to know what weak side of your network security system currently has and then you have to fix this weak side of your network security system. If you often do this type of attacking test into your organization then your organization will be safe from any type of hackers attack.

5. Aware your employee. Now you need to well train of your employees cause they also will work into your organization and if they mistakenly install a malware then your network security system can fall in danger. Aware you employees what they should not to do and what they should to do. You can test your employee by ethical hacker cause they know how to make fool an employee. If any employee become victim then train this employee again. If you could not aware your employees then no security will be able to safe your business organization.

6. Setup firewalls properly. If a firewall setup is wrong then it’s become an open door for any hackers. So setup your firewall properly. Drive all traffic through firewall which will only allow your employees access into your network system and prevent your security system from any malware installation. You have to set rule of traffic and specific instruction to firewall. Time to time you have to analysis your firewall and have to see traffic source also.

7. Make a password policy. You have to make a password policy for you business organization. Easy to remember every password length will be eight digit more with lowercase, uppercase characters, number, and also symbol too. Every password will be change in every two months.

8. Remove comment. If your website is contain comment in source code then remove it cause sometime this comment indirectly give valuable information to hackers and they become success to crack your user name with password.

9. Remove unnecessary software. If your computer system is containing so many application which you don’t then remove all this unnecessary software.

10. Remove default and test application. If you get any security software for security purpose then you maybe get some default and test application with this security software which is same to all place and easy to crackable to hackers. So remove this default and test application from your network security system.

11. Use anti virus. Install good well known anti virus software to your network system and try to update your network security system with anti virus regularly if possible then daily cause daily anti virus software detect new virus and if your system is infected by new virus then very easily anti virus will detect virus and then it will remove virus from your network system.

12. Ensure physical security. If your organization physical security system is weak then no security will be able to safe you. If any hacker enter your server room and then install a malware to your network security system then no security system will work for you. So at first ensure your physical security system and be sure no one except your appointed person are capable to enter or access your server room and also any computer which is connected with server.
